"Dreams That Never Were"
As "San Francisco Nights" nears the finish line for publication, I'm beginning work on "Dreams That Never Were." The title is based on a speech by Sen. Robert F. Kennedy when he said "Some men see things as they are and say 'Why?' I dream of things that never were and say 'Why not?'"
It's the story of a young newspaperman, Alex Hurley, who is covering the 1968 presidential campaign. Then everything changes on June 6th when Sen. Kennedy is assassinated and Alex is one of the people wounded in the shooting. Watch this space for updates.
